There’s this lady that drives a porsche and heads a medium size firm.
She walked into the workplace washroom this morning, sees one of her employees.
The employee greets her and she walks on by, determine to avoid eye contact.
She made her decision to withhold the simple human capacity to be pleasant.
And that erodes my respect for her.
Hmm. Maybe she was just having a bad morning? Some people tend to shut out the rest of the world.
“Determined to avoid eye contact” – I know some people think that’s rude, but for some others (like me) it can be one of the few defences they have when they are just in no state to deal with the world at large.
